Cerveja ale, amargor marcante e persistente, seca, digna de uma ale britânica. Muito boa para se apreciar.

UPDATED: NOV 6, 2013 Deep dark mahogany colour, sweet toffee nutty aroma, taste is all of that and bit of fruitiness followed by a spicy, strong, dry bitterness that is distinctive of all shepherd neame brews I find. Rich, full bodied and quite lively as well. Very nice.

Traditional malty, bitter ale that is pretty good for a mass produced beer. An interesting traditional story behind it too.

A refined bitter, surprisingly light but with a explosive aftertaste, fresh and hoppy in the tongue.
