COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Canterbury Jack has been hand crafted using the finest Kentish hops and barley, creating a light refreshing and contemporary ale, bursting with citrus nose and flavour. Sharping its name with an ancient hop and the nickname for a county rogue, it is truly a Kentish character ale.

500 ml bottle. Clear amber body with medium sized off-white head. Aroma has caramel malt, dark fruit and a hint of citric. Flavour is sweet malt, caramel, fruit and light balanced bitterness. Medium body and medium aftertaste. All in all a medium beer in all aspects with no miss flavours and sometimes this is just what I need. Would not mind to have this on a regular basic, and if not I would easily find something similar.

Bottle from Meny Manglerud enjoyed at home
Copper hazy, offwhite head. Smells of malts, english hops, tea and biscuit. Moderate sweet, quite dry, some nice dark malts and some dark fruits. Moderate to medium bitter finish with earthy hops and resins. A quite good bitter; easy drinkable and good session stuff

Pours amber. Some white head. Malt, metal and skunk nose. Why do the british continue to use clear bottles? Malt, metal, some hop, blood aroma. A bit sour.

0.5 L clear bottle, bought @Ølhandleriet, Oslo. A shiny blond fingerthick head, upon a lightly hazed light amber colored body. Nice aroma of nutty malts, toffee, hay, and something fruity reminscent of a black currants. Healthy body considering the low abv. Slick in the mouth. Taste is less outspoken. Mild sourish-sweet malt body. Stale earthy hops the back, along with a fine berry-like fruitiness. Not bad at all, I’d love to try this one from a well kept cask.

500ml bottle. White head almost disappearing. Light amber color. Low carbonation. Aroma has malt, grain, wood, hint of something sweet. Toffee? Flavour of malt and chalky wood. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
