COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Canterbury Jack has been hand crafted using the finest Kentish hops and barley, creating a light refreshing and contemporary ale, bursting with citrus nose and flavour. Sharping its name with an ancient hop and the nickname for a county rogue, it is truly a Kentish character ale.

Bottle from Meny Manglerud enjoyed at home
Copper hazy, offwhite head. Smells of malts, english hops, tea and biscuit. Moderate sweet, quite dry, some nice dark malts and some dark fruits. Moderate to medium bitter finish with earthy hops and resins. A quite good bitter; easy drinkable and good session stuff

Bottle. Amber beer with a good but light head. The aroma is bitter with strong roasted and toffee'ness. The flavour is also bitter with toffee'ness and some smooth maltiness. Overall a nice bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Caramel, fruits, grass and bread in the aroma. Pale amber with a white head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Light body with a average carbonation. Overall a decent bitter, not very interesting, but easy drinkable with a nice flavour.

Variety pack from macro. Appealing citrus zest on the nose. Deep amber in colour with a quickly dissipating foamy head. Slightly over carbonated for my taste, but a fruity, malty flavour with a refreshing bite of hop.

syrlig duft av malt og noe karamell. Fin gyllen farge. Lite skum, ring langs kant. Frisk smak med en syrlig tone. Greit drikke øl.

Flaske 0,5% fra Eide Handel. Drukket hjemme 4 Okt 13. Gyldenbrun. Høyt luftig skum som varer en stund. Pen lacing. God maltaroma med antydning til frukt. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken er malt & karamell. Blir litt syrlig bitter etter hvert. Avslutninga er tørr frukt. Veldig godt butikkøl!

Clear 500ml bottle: BBD Jun 14, poured into a UK pint sleeve at home on 15 Feb 14. Autumnal orange body with a swiftly dying white head. Mild citrus hop nose combined with biscuity malts and a yeast trace. The taste is semi-malty with a citrus feel, OK rather than wonderful. A pleasant blend of flavours but nothing to really get your taste buds going. Medium to semi-weak body wise, a typical low priced Shepherd Neame supermarket beer.

Bottle @ Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig. The pour’s golden amber with a small head. The nose is lightly spiced apple bread. The taste is of caramelized pears. Honeyed banana bread. Slightly toasty hops on the finish. Light body, soft carbonation. Actually not terrible.

Bottle @ home. Aroma is caramel and bready maly, some faint hops. Flavour has caramel, bread, citrussy and floral hops. Decent.

Bottled, 500ml from Morrison’s in Banbury. Amber with white head. This was a slightly thin beer with a dry caramel note, quite metallic perhaps, some dry grass and a little bitter. Dryish. It’s ok but quite unremarkable.
