COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Canterbury Jack has been hand crafted using the finest Kentish hops and barley, creating a light refreshing and contemporary ale, bursting with citrus nose and flavour. Sharping its name with an ancient hop and the nickname for a county rogue, it is truly a Kentish character ale.

Sehr hopfiger Geruch, dunkel goldene Farbe. Grasig hopfig. Der Antrunk ist malzig-herb, typisch alig. Im Hauptteil hopfenaromatisch-herb, sehr toll malzig, dabei aromatisch-frisch-herb. Im Nachgeschmack lang anhaltend, hopfenaromatisch-herb, sehr ale-typisch. --> Sehr lecker und toll! --> 13/12/12/12

Bottle 50cl abv4, found at Isrenna Ica, and Matservice Eurospar Langnes, Tromsø. White airy head sticks areas inside the mug, and a bright amber lively body, beautiful colour. Hoppy scents with distinct smokey malts too. Tastes grass, hops, bitter, lemon peel, roasted malts, toast, burnt wood. Mouthfeel light bitter and well made, carbonation is low and pleasant. Ends in a bittersweet feel, and overall very tasty considering the moderate abv.

Bottle. Bronze with a small head.Creamy hoppiness is the best way to describe it. Slightly out the of the norm but with that distinctive Shepherd Neame flavour running through it.

I wish I was back in Canterbury.... Noh, onneksi edessä on sentään tuopillinen Canterbury Jackia, tuota Shepherd Neame tuotosta. Olut in väriltään kuparista ja omaa valkoisen vaahdon. Tuoksussa on sitruksista humalointia, karamellia ja leipää. Ensipuraisu on erinomainen. Tarkemmin ajateltuna mausta ei kuitenkaan löydy monimuotoisuutta. Silti tätä juo mielellään. Maussa on makeutta, katkeruutta, sitrusta ja puumaisuutta. Olut on erittäin helppo juotava ja vähähiilihappoinen.

500 ml bottle.
Pours a copper colour with a small white head on the edges. Aroma of very smooth caramel, grass and citrus. Flavour of smooth caramel, grassy hops, some citrus and pale malts. Smooth mouthfeel with a dry, malty, quite bitter finish. Quite nice really.

Bottle. Pours amber with a fizzy off white head that lasts a while then eventually fades to a ring. Aroma is earthy and grassy hops with some pine and fruit, slightly toasty. Taste is grapefruit, grassy hops, medium bitterness, slight sweetness. Medium body and medium carbonation. It’s not terribly interesting but it’s a pretty solid bitter.
