This golden amber ale has a generous aroma of tropical fruit. The fruity flavour has hints of mangoes, oranges, lemons and sultanas. The pleasant floral hop balances this beer perfectly. It is a drying, warming, rounded ale to sip and savour at leisure.

Pours red/amber, extremely clear. Very sweet aroma. Ripe bananas and small hints of spices, some fudge. White sugar, stale nose. Very lame flavour, sugary water. Almost no afterbitterness. Small body.

500ml bottle from Trafalgar Wines, Brighton. Amber colour with lasting off white head. Shep yeast and rich fruit aroma. Too much boiled sweet malt. Relatively good strong bitter hop finish. Interesting mix of raisiny candy sugar and strong hop. Curiously likeable. Candy sugar is a bit too obvious. Shame really as the rest is pretty good. Raisiny cherry plum fruit and good bitter hop finish. Some caramel.
