bottle at home ... deep black ... thin tan head ... soft roast malts ... dark chocolate roast nose ... bitter metalic roast malt front ... over fizzy ... dark malts ... the metalic edge is ruining it for me.

500ml bottle from Terre de Boissons, Calais. Black beer dark brown edges with lasting tan head. Creamy chocolate on the aroma. Tasty english style stout. I like it. touch of paper comes on the swallow/finish. Not overly roasty, not too much liquorice. I think pretty solid and I’d happily drink this again. Decent.
