Gammal recension från 2009. Drucken med ölföreningen. Ljus bitter med lite extra engelsk humle. Dock karamellig malt kropp, typisk för SN med en torr, stram och fruktig på ett omoget sätt. Fin om man gillar UK-humle.

Bottle shared with hubby. Boring aroma, something between a field of hops and beef stock. Taste is quite nice with flavour of refreshing mild citrus fruits and hops. Bitter finish.

Bottle shared with McTapps. A hops dominated ale with a sharp bitter end. An average one but way better than other from Shepherd Neame.

Really good "basic" bitter ale, with twisting aftertaste. Citric aroma, long-lasting bitterness.

Nice fresh nose that goes well with its spring theme. Well balanced taste notes and dry finish. Overall refreshing and somewhat predictable. Is that a bad thing? You decide

50 cl bottle (4,5%) @ home, BBE 02/2013
Aroma is sweetish, hoppy and rather typical to Shepherd Neame ales with grainy malt and some toffee. Palate is too high on CO2. Flavour has toffee, some hops, grainy and bready malt and ripe peaches. Dry and somewhat nutty finish. No surprises here.
