2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
First off I do love the retro label, kicking it oldschool and such. It produces up a still, headless, sparkling copper, so not too impressed with the start. Lowly nose has hints of fresh baked brioche, peanut husks, pine needles, camphor and eucalypt. Bit boozy and rough for a beer of such medial strength. Bitterness has teeth but lacks definition. Medicinal, chemical note ruins it completely. Raspy and sharp. Caramel, doughy malts offer a flabby sweetness. Light touch of fresh mown grass, hay bales and camphor late. Nothing here excites asides the label. Ahem! (50cL, no date stamp, Cellarbrations Kinross)

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Chestnut brown in colour, malty-ale-typical aroma. The beer starts malty, very full-bodied. The mainpart is nicely hopped, flowery aroma together with malty ale character. Nicely bitter. The aftertaste is long, intense malty and nice bitter! Thanks to Seanyfo for this great beer!

Dark amber, clear, thin bubbly head; yeasty aroma; taste is toffee, dried fruit and earthy English hops - an understated IPA, the whole thing is reminscent of White Shield, and is equally good.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
From ASDA. Amber with a slight white head and next to no carbonation. Sweet, slightly corny aroma with some prominent alcohol and a touch of fruit. Full mouth feel, with flavours of barley sugar, apricot and slightly doughy malts, before a moderately bitter finish. Ok.
