Una versione semplice di birra ipa, bevibile, si apprezza ma non ha un ruolo così marcato del luppolo. Bevuta in bottiglia

Strong malty aroma with notes of caramel and raisins. Reddish amber color, visible strong carbonation, short head. Taste of metal, grains, caramel with a herbal bitterness. Medium body, lively carbonation.

Draught. No formal tasting notes, but I have to record somewhere that this beer tasted exactly like champignon mushrooms! Maybe not what I'm looking for in a beer.

On tap at Bishops Arms in Örebro. Malty and fruity smell with apples. Very metallic taste with some fruits and malts in the background. I can’t handle this much metal so gave it to some friends.

Pours amber color, clear, almost brilliant, with tiny off-white foamy head. Visually medium carbonation. malt aroma of caramel, biscuit, with hop aroma in background, with notes of pine, flowers. Flavor: Medium high malt flavors which takes on caramel, biscuit, toast, with hop flavors in background, which takes on pine, citrus and some stone fruits. Hop bitterness is moderate medium, malt sweetness is medium. Finish is slightly bitter dry, body is medium, carbonation also, texture is soft. For me traditional English style IPA.

Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, caramel, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Sehr schönes Erscheinungsbild - schöne Farbe, stabiler Schaum. Im Geschmack leider nicht ganz so top. Trotzdem ein empfehlenswertes Bier ....cheers

Japalo (1832) - DENMARK - JUN 29, 2015
Bottle@home. Dark golden. Clear. Small head. Cookie caramel maltyness. Where are the hoppyness. Gentle lingering bitterness though. I guess a classical English IPA. A bit boring.

I personnaly love the I.P.A and this one is standard. It is bitter and the hop is regular. The colour is typical and it is like copper. The carbonation is regular.

Draught at black door. Caramel but butterscotch too. Nice amber/reddish color. Cognac like. Malt sweetness. Light smell of cat piss or cheap lager like Heineken. Bit of copper/metallic. Lingering copper bitterness. Body and residual sweetness hides the faults. Butter and metallic is definitely present. Boring ipa.
