Orange klar i fargen med tynt hvitt skum. Karamellukt. Søt, bitterheten kom heldigvis, selv om den var fraværende i lukten. Kort bitter ettersmak.

On cask at the Brit in Guildford. Pours amber with a frothy head. Smell had a bit of caramel as did the taste.

Cask @ The Sun Inn, Faversham. Clear, dark golden body with a small off-white head. Mild aroma of caramel and citric fruit, the malt is dominating more than the hops compared with bottle version. Nice, cask soft malt flavor, fruity and moderate bitterness. Medium body and light, smooth aftertaste. Nice and refreshing session ale.

Bland aroma. Some minerals in the taste, classic Shepherd Neame. Bitter and drying. Dull. Flat, but it was a little old.

Cask @ SBWF 2012. Hazy, deep yellow color. Sweet, cake icing, fruity notes in aroma. Sweet, chocolate cake, dry yeast, toffee in flavor. Mild bitter finish.

Cask @ SBWF’12

Pours dark orange with a bubbly head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, darkfruits and grass. Taste is malty and slightly fruity with some hoppy notes. Finish is smooth and slightly bitter with some hoppy notes. Actually quite tasty.

Cask, at 6,1% ABV (?). Deep straw, white head. Malty, hoppy aroma, caramel, toffee, yeast, nougat. Dry, medium body and bitterness, low CO2. Malty taste, caramel, chocolate, earth, yeast. The mouthfeel is way too thin, would benefit from a bit more body. (2012-09-27)
