3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 sm89walt (1587) - Norwich, Norfolk, ENGLAND - MAY 26, 2012
500ml bottle. Poured a clear, dark copper-amber with a one finger, mostly lasting off-white to beige head. A typical pasteurised SN bottled ale - fruits, toasted malts & caramel all round. Finished with a toasted, nutty bitterness & a grassy hop note with a metallic edge too. Light to medium body, medium carbonation, relatively lasting bitterness. I’m pretty sure this isn’t the best Kent has to offer.
