Cask; Regular. Replacement for Best Bitter.
"This is an ambient bitter, successfully merging the biscuity sweetness of English malt with the fruity, floral bitterness of locally grown East Kent Goldings and Target hops, to give a clean, satisfying and moreish drink."

UPDATED: MAY 7, 2006 Nov, 2005 JDW, Rochester. Creamy and sweet best bitter with a quiet and dignified hop exit. [2.9]
April, 2006 <a href=http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/14/146 Anchor, Faversham . A beautiful marmalade sweet best bitter with a dusty hop edge lingering in the swallow. The sweetness is soon balanced, leaving a sweet memory. This is an impressive ale - spicy and full bodied. Dark cherry flavours. I enjoyed this more and more as the pint progressed. A bloody great beer - every mouthful a pleasure. [4.4]

[Cask at the Bull Inn, Bulverhythe, Hastings] Amber, thin loose cream head. Chocolate & lightly roasted malt in a lovely smooth mothfeel. A glorious relaxing bitter, I didn’t know Shepherd Neame had it in them!

Coarse white head. Deep chestnut brown body. Dry spicy tea and fruit aroma with malty notes. Sweetish mild malty fruity tea taste. Excellent harmony and balance. Dryish background. Dry wooden caramel aftertaste with tea notes. Excellent! A great beer. (0.5pt cask at the Ashburnham Arms, Greenwich.)

Cask handpump at The Lamb, Farnham, Saturday 10th March 2012 Possibly the beer in the most spankingly good condition of the day. Pours a sort of copper colour amazing clarity. Ok its really just a nice session strength beer, little furry on tongue, steady bitterness, clean with a little dryness at the end, but it’s very good. A7 A5 T7 P3 Ov14 3.6

(At Bishops Arms, Avenyn, Gotenburg) Golden with a creamy oggwhite head. Mild, fruity aroma. Flavor from grapes, grassy, fruity and with a quite nice bitterness. Hoppy finish. Quite a good beer to start the afternoon with...

Lovely clear dark amber ale with an off white head. Quite a strong bitter flavour but its actually pretty refreshing. Not sure its the best Kent has to offer but its definitely up there.
