Bottle. Pours amber, with a finger thick head. Aroma is quite edgy hops with pine cones, herbs, ferns and woody spices, as well as some caramel malts and honey. Flavour is a crisp and quite one dimensional bitter with pine, lemon and grapefruit peel, giving a long bitter finish.

0.5l bottle. This is a clear caramel-golden colored one with a medium sized fading and bubbly off-white top. Nice English aromas, caramel, grass, toffee and traces of bitter nuts. Not bad at all. It has a decent average carbonation level and a soft oily to watery mouthfeel. Again grassy hoppy tones in the flavor, the caramel is present as is the bitterness. Straight forward a classic I do not stick myself out to much-English bitter. 23.02.2013

Beer3000 (3723) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 13, 2013
500 ml bottle. Clear, deep golden body with a moderate sized off-white head. Quite mild aroma of bread, caramel malt, fruit and a hint of toast and butterscotch. Flavor is mild, sweet, smooth malt, caramel, some fruit and mild bitterness with a hint of butterscotch, but not unpleasant. It’s quite nice actually without having anything special to offer really. A traditionally British bitter in other words.
