DWF; Bottle 500mL., from local marked. Pours moderate, clear cobber with a somewhat lasting and lacing, frothy, off-white head. Nose is shy to moderate, malt, caramel, citrus fruit, light honey, hay and spice. Taste is medium sweet and bitter with a somewhat lasting malt, light spicy finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is avarage.

A very disappointing beer with hardly any redeeming features. Hints of toffee, along with a bland bitterness and very watery mouth feel. Why Shepherd Neame churns out such rubbish is beyond me! Not a patch on other ales I’ve tried at similar strengths.

Butelka 500 ml. Bursztynowy kolor . Piana biala - mala. Kolejny Shepherd Name i kolejna porazka... Kentish Ale o wielkiej tradycji zostalo zepsute...Aromat scierki maczanej w herbacie. Strasznie chemicznie zajezdza. Smak nie lepszy. Wodniste o bardzo plytkim posmaku chmielowym. Herbacianym .ciastkowym .orzechowym.Slaba goryczka na koncu jezyka. Uff ..sie rozpisalem...za Silverfoxem..zamknac browar. slabe zdecydowanie nie polecam.

Bottle. Amber clear. Leafy tea leafs on nose, quite earthy, dry herby, caramelly toffeeish crackery. Light med bodied. Nice at first, caramels, scottish toffee, slight nutty. But gets a bit too dry, over-infused tea- astringent, and short in the finish. A bit dull overall, but has a refreshingly different taste profile.

Clear copper. Malty sweetish aroma. Low carbons. Sweet maltyness, some honey, mildly bitter, metallic. Quite rich but shy.

Kolor: bursztynowy, klarowny. Piana: bia?a, drobno p?cherzykowa, niestety bardzo szybko redukuje si? do cienkiej warstewki. W aromacie delikatne nuty cytryn, ?liwek a obok nieco karmelu i toffi. Smak: bardzo ubogo, tylko toffi, no i mo?e gdzie? na samym dnie, bardzo delikatnie cytryna. Goryczka: nieznaczna, miekka, tylko na finiszu. Wysycenie: wysokie, szczypie w j?zyk. Alkohol: schowany.

0.5 l clear bottle from local supermarket as Master Brew The Original Kentish Ale. Colour is dark amber, OK head. Very strong flavour of malts for your mouth and nose. There are also some bitter hops. Quite OK.
