OStreetBrewery (96), Wellington, New Zealand Dec 11, 2007 Pours a light copper with a tight dense head. Aroma features citrus, lemon and lime fruit essence, a touch of nutty malt and a touch of light strike. On the palate the lemon lime character is continued, a slight caramalt character, and a decent bitter finish. A light quenching pint, would be better from the cask.

Served at cellar temperature in Duvel glass. Another Shepherd Neame beer, and somehow I’m no longer excited of the prospect. The nose on this one seems more standoutish, toffeeish malt in there but more hop dominant; a bit of citrus, orange and lemon, almost seems like a soft drink. Bit less stale perhaps? Clear copper body with foamy white head and lace. Initial flavour is quite nice; nutty toffee malts, zesty lemon and orange hops. Body drops off quite quickly and left with a lingering dryness that isn’t too appealing, kinda soapy. Not bad, not great, there’s something off putting about it. skortila (2433), Bunnik, Netherlands Sep 28, 2008 Aroma has some caramel malts and fruity hops. Clear, amber-copper coloured with a lasing, white head. Taste is sweet and more bitter towards the finish. KimJohansen (4296), Copenhagen V, Denmark Jul 22, 2008 Clear golden with medium head. Sweet fruity with caramel and floral hops. Ends mild Bitter. cellar (391), Dublin, Ireland Jul 12, 2008 Clear amber, nice lasting head, aroma of caramalt and and ripe and dried friut, sweet taste.
