It is believed that Dadís Delight and IPA are the same beer under different names
Crisp and clean with a refreshing citrussy hop bite, This IPA is burnished gold in colour from the carefully roasted malts used in the mash tun. Hops are added at three stages in the brewing process to give the aroma and bitterness so typical of an India Pale Ale.
Dadís Delight:
Celebrate Fatherís Day With Dadís Delight Ale He Deserves It
A brew that will bring a smile of delight to your old dadís face. Packed full of rich malty notes and bittered by the choicest Kentish hops. A delight to brew and a delight to drink.

50cl bottle from Lidl, Crowthorne for 99p. Another beer thatís rather better than expected. Itís a pale amber pour with a tight cream head; typical Shep aroma; firm malty body with some caramel and citrus; and a touch of white pepper to add a kick to the finish.

March 2016 Brewerís Choice IPA . 500ml clear glass bottle, filtered. 99p from Lidl. Itís drinkable, and itís cheap. Thereís a beer flavour and some hops and some roasty notes. Itís better than it should be for the price. Itís not a fascinating beer, but itís perfectly fine. [2.8}
June, 2016 Dadís Delight. 500ml clear glass bottle, filtered, 99p from Lidl. This is, apparently, the same beer. It certainly fits better the description above of the IPA, though my experience of the IPA was that it had some roasty notes which Iím not detecting here. This is a pale burnished gold, with a light yet lively citrus hop - a delicate note of lemon on a clean and dry pale biscuit malt. Itís drinkable and reasonably attractive, though it does taste rather thin and lifeless. Certainly good value at 99p. [2.8]

Bottle from Lidl as Dadís Delight. Clear brown amber colour lasting thin off white head. Aroma of pasteurisation. Boiled sweet malt and pepper hop. Fruity malt in the mouth a bit like the Late Red. Some white pepper hop on the finish. Itís fine. Not as pasteurised as I feared. Aroma isnít great, but the rest is fine. Some decent fruity malt.

500ml bottle from Aldi (I think) - Clear amber with a small head. Florally hop nose, with a soapy taste and a strange watery palate. I think the Master Brewer needs to have a good look at himself if this is HIS choice.

Bottle, probably from Lidl. Copper with a thin head and a carbonation. Light bitter with a low bitterness. Crisp and clean like its description and small malt notes.

A mid brown coloured beer with a weak white head. A slightly funky sulphurous aroma on opening the bottle. This does settle down to let a pithy hop aroma to come through, there is also a faint maltiness in the background. Dry mouthfeel. The taste follows on from the aroma. Although thereís elements of grassy, hop and mild biscuity malt, the sulphurous funkiness is still present, not doing the beer any favours. The finish is weak. Bottle bought from Lidl, Fakenham as "Dadís Delight"
