Amber, slight haze, dense white had
Aroma - Shep yeast, soft minerals, some english hops here
Taste - light pale caramel malts, some shep yeast, touch of berry fruitness, hint of lemon, some bitter hops, getting English hops here but there is slight hint of citrus, touch of soft minerals
Palate - light body, quite smooth. Finish as main flavour with a touch of spicy hop, soft bitter minerals, hint of citrus, some minerals in the tail

1/3 pint glass, cask, festival real ale option at Penderels Oak. Good looking with a golden-brown coloured body, tiny layer and spotty lacing to the glassware. Malt-fruity throughout. Dry bitter ending. Thin to medium bodied. On par with the style (London, 01.11.2012).

Cask conditioned handpump Cordwainer Northampton 01/11/ A golden to copper coloured beer with a white head and lace. Very light berry fruits throughout. Seems English hopping rather than the selection quoted. Seems dull at first but a pleasant subtlety of flavour comes through and it’s pretty palateable.

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW, London. Pours clear fold with a fine, white cream head. Nuts, toasty grain and straw on the nose. Light sweet flavour with more nuts, grainy malts, bit of toasty pale malts, hay. Light bodies with fine carbonation. Light sweet finish, a bit grainy and nutty, some more toasty hay. Nothing too wrong here.

Cask conditioned at The Ralph Fitz Randal (JDW), Richmond, Yorks. Gold body with a reddish tinge. Medium white head with excellent lacing. Fruits, strawberry, hoppy, malty, nutty. Bitter with a dry finish. A bit thin.
