A bitter mawing as it should be, rich and spicy flavour, hoppy aftertaste with a hint of liquour.

A pleasant bitter, interesting aroma and a prominent taste. Quite at the thin side of texture. Finish is allright.

gyllenbock (4634) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 5, 2013
Bottle from ICA Viksjö. Copper with a creamy white head. Aroma and taste of malt, tea, some light "perfume", nuts and fruit. Rather tasty for being a 3,5% beer.

Franzen (323) - SWEDEN - JUL 12, 2014
Fruity sweet aroma, actually a bit reminescent of grilled marshmallows. Clear orange, white head. Sweet caramelly taste with a balancing bitterness, could have been more bitter though. Low to average carbonation, light body. A bit too caramelly otherwise nice

Medium coarseish offwhite head. Lovely coppery brown body. Harmonic peppery caramelly aroma with nutty wooden notes. Dry-sweetish caramel and pepper taste with roasty wooden nutty notes. Mid-bodied. Smoothish mouthfeel. Dry roasty peppery cardboard aftertaste with metallic dandelion notes. Quite nice and drinkable, but the full version is much better. Ɛ.5l bottle, MaxiMat, Charlottenberg.)

An ale like /so/ many others, but with its relatively low alcohol content it does no harm. Red appearance and slightly thin taste.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear amber with a handsome off-white head. Sweet caramel in the nose, nuts and chicory. Light body, nuts and birned caramel with a fruity touch. Subdued bitterness. Actually pleasant drinking. 160411

The foam will disappear pretty quickly. Good bitterness and smooth malt flavor. I miss, however, toffee flavor that is normally found in the English ales.

UPDATED: SEP 8, 2014 A very bitter and quite heavy beer. Good maltness in the flavor. Still it’s quite easy to drink.
