12oz bottle, typical English bitter Ale. Light brown pour, caramel aroma; medium bitterness, light sweetness and sourness; medium body, definitely balanced. Only 4.5abv, good brew to drink a few of.

From a bottle. Pours copper with a thin, lacy head. Thin aromas of malt and banana; yeast. Taste is mild--a bit of banana and clove; slight malt sweetness, bready notes, and then a whisper of citrus before a dry bite of hops. Light, peppery mouthfeel. Not a horrible ale, but not exceptional. I wouldn’t avoid this one, but I wouldn’t seek it out either.

A delicious bitter! This style usually does not travel too well when coming from England and the ones we make here are not on par with theirs. Aroma was caramel malt and not much else. A little thin. Pour was a nice hazy dark gold with a thin off white ring for a head. Taste was delicious. Toffee, caramel and sweet malt. Nice carbonation which I’m sure the Brits don’t like. Don’t like English beer as a whole, but would love to try some good bitters fresh because of this beer.

Clear deep copper brownish pour with a thin off white to white head and very light sticky lacing .... aroma is of toffee and light toasted malts with plenty of caramel malts ..... taste is of toffee, light toasted and caramel malts and has a nice light bitter bite to it .... earthy and malty with a nice front to back bitter bite that lingers for a bit in the finish ..... bet this is delicious on nitro

Lovely dark colour with a nice amount of head on pouring. Very very hoppy in flavour but still pretty refreshing. Only downside is its very gassy, more than necessary I think.
