Pours a nice Amber colour. Aromas are slightly fruity and mostly malty. Not too interesting...but quaffable enough.

Not very intensive aroma of malts and spicy hops. Small but very durable head. Clear amber body. Small bitterness in taste with hints of nuts and herbs. Not very pleasant aftertaste. Interesting but not very enjoyable for me.

A presento as a "gift from afar" to the Hooch after our trip to Fairford, UK for Baltops 15. A light easy drinking English ale. Earthy and very light. Standard for the UK brews.

Thin head. Moderate carbonation. Redish color. Freh smell of dried fruit and wet grass. Well balanced sweetness and bitterness. Moderately hoppy. Deeply aromatic. All the right flavors in abundance but not overwhelming. I like it.

Pours a thin head on a clear dark straw body. The aroma is barnyard, damp hay, apricot and plum. Nice. The taste is moderately sweet with a kick of bitterness middle to end. The texture is crisp and fizzy. Enjoyable.

Perfect clear copper color with thin but fine pored foam. The smell is mostly negligible. The taste is bitter oily and a little tart especially in the aftertaste. Lightly carbonated and a little sweet. Not bad if you like a bitter beer with little dominant distinguishable hop notes.

Bottle. Amber body with white head. Aroma is malty with hints of fruits and some caramel. Taste is also malty and bread with some metallic taste. Aftertaste is also malty with some nice bitterness. Nice traditional ale.

Pours a classic brown ale colour with a decent head and good lacing. Nose is caramel, maybe some bread, raisin and biscuit. Flavour is again sort of caramel, brown bread and biscuit. Does have a sort of astringent quality to it ....maybe washing up liquid and or soap....although that was only on my second can I noticed it. Very light and crisp in a can.....it is a lot better on cask. Finish is clean and dry. Overall not bad. Sort of an impression of a good ale that falls short of flavour and body. I prefer them with more body and less carbonation. Although at 4.2% it is sessionable ( worth noting the can I got from 7-11 Taipei was not 4.5 as stated above) .

@ Röhällavägen 150616. Can (44o ml) from Systembolaget. Malty and fruity with caramely notes, sweet, medium body with a watery texture. The finish is dry, sweet and malty with fruity notes.
