500ml bottle. Decent brew served super cold (maybe a bit too cold). Hops upfront in the smell and taste but not too much more can be detected....possibly a bit of citrus fruit. The palate is thin to medium but the after taste lingers for quite a while. Nothing very special about this one but worth a try.

Bottle is quite nice, label is quite nice, appearance is quite nice. Beer is drab, and that’s an overstatement. Somewhat artificial, though faint hoppiness, Some caramel and orange peel in the taste, but it’s all there is. I can’t see why this would be rated as bitter, seems more like a red ale to be, and not a great one. Not bad, but expect no fireworks.

UPDATED: MAY 16, 2016 Bottle 500ml. Served at room temperature. Pours a clear amber. Head is large, foamy off white and lasts very well. Aroma is of grains, bread crusts, biscuits, toffee, earthy hops and light notes of orange marmalade and gooseberries. Flavour is a light earthy hop bitterness with grains, caramel, oranges and light notes of buttery biscuits in the finish. Light bodied with a watery texture, soft carbonation and short, dry finish.

Bottle from friend. Pours rich red brown with crisp white head. Aroma grassy, malt heavy with some treacle. Taste tinged with vegetables, good bitterness but rather flat.
