Good honest ale, pours nicely. Refreshing with a slight bitter aftertaste, caramel, butterscotch, went well with roast beef.

Bottle. Pours clear tea amber with stable off-white head. Bitter, hoppy and fruity and peppery aroma. Bitter, hopy taste with distinct fruity and caramel notes. Dryish aftertaste. Slightly watery mouthfeel. An OK bitter.

Bottle @ Home. Pours copper with a offwhite head. Aroma of malt, caramel, light cinnamon, light hops. Flavor is malt, little yeast, caramel, light spice, bitter citrusly hops. Thin body, soft carbonation, dry light bitter finish. 070513

Bottle. Copper coloured with medium head. Aroma is a little yeasty. Taste is also yeast, earth, caramel and some bittering hops that linger in the mouth. Middle of the road beer.

Bottle at home. Clear mahogany brown color, smooth white head. Aroma of malts, some fruity, corn. Basic watery english bitter. Sweet malty body, some hops.

It pours a nice amber colour with low carbonation and almost not head. A little hopy and bitter but quite drinkable.

Shared with my new best friend Joe. I like him because he’s not funnier than me so I can feel superior, also he knows far less than me about beer so I feel good about myself, this makes him a more palatable mentee. Bitterness that isn’t enjoyable. Malt with ugh. Not very good.
