3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 mt_hall (40) - Hertfordshire, - JAN 24, 2013Bottled. Pours a clear mid brown with a good, lasting white head. Subtle hoppy aroma of resin. Hoppy flavours too, developing into a smooth, nutty, malty finish. Good example of an English bitter.

Lots of malts and hops in the flavour with a medium bitter finish. The Spitfire seems to have an above average carbonation which I kinda like

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20 The_Bish (861) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - APR 8, 2013
Shared with my new best friend Joe. I like him because he’s not funnier than me so I can feel superior, also he knows far less than me about beer so I feel good about myself, this makes him a more palatable mentee. Bitterness that isn’t enjoyable. Malt with ugh. Not very good.
