Appearance: Copper gold, low head Aroma: Biscuity, floral hops, golden syrup, honey, caramel Flavour: Griany and malty, with biscuit and toffee. Finishes dry with a clean lingering hop bitterness. Light fruity fermentation esters ( pear, apple, and some berry) Mouthfeel: Medium bodied prickly carbonation and mineral dryness. Overall: Sweet and malty in the aroma, malty biscuity and dry in the mouth with pear, fermentation easters. Finishes fry and moreish. Nice on all accounts except the clear bottle, hate that.

Dommage.

Medioker lageröl, hel del malt och sötma. Lite vattnig i kroppen men inget oväntat.

A bit grassy and bitter in the taste, which unfortunatly dies out a bit too quick.

Nice. Decent tasting and flavoursome. Carbonation is just right too. A rather fine effort.

440ml can, pours dark amber with a medium sized frothy beige head, that reduced quickly leaving a little lacing. Aroma of caramel and rye sourdough bread. Flavours of caramel, rye sourdough bread, spices, orange zest and dried apricots. Taste is light-medium sweet and medium bitter. Palate is light-medium bodied, slightly slick texture and average carbonation. Overall a decent bitter, would have liked it fuller bodied.

Bottle on the Hull ferry. Amber with a fairly decent cream head. A slightly perfumey fruity taste. Some spice too. Pretty average.

A very strong, dark taste of malts and a clearer taste of alcohol and bitterness than I’m used to. Not an unpleasant combination, gives you a nice kind of kick, very refreshing.
