Draught (The Bun Shop, Cambridge) I was very familiar with this beer before this particular rating, and was gobsmacked by how fantastic this particular pint was. Light fruity aroma, woody - oaky, also sweet maltiness noticable. Flavour to match, with plenty of well-balanced bitterness. Welcoming creaminess in the mouth too. Almost unbeatable - bitter at its best.

Cask at the Bloomsbury Tavern, 15th August 2008. Copper amber body. Slightly funky, quite hoppy aroma. Good balance of sweet and dry flavours. Decent weight.

Cask at The Wharf, Aalborg, Denmark. Amber color with an off-white head. Aroma of nutty/roasted malt, caramel, citrus, wood and sweet fruit. Taste of ligthly toasted malt, nuts, caramel/toffee, citrus, wood and fruit. Dry finish. Surprisingly good on cask and much better then the bottled version.

Handpulled cask at JDW Watford. Amber with white head. Still a good beer. Nice fresh hoppy taste.

Draught@Kaisla, Helsinki. Amber color, nearly no head. Flowery hop aroma. Smooth bitter taste, malty finish. Not a bad bitter, but I’ve had better.

Cask. Golden with a nice, white head. It must be 4 years since I tasted this in a bottle version, and I had a hard time with some cheese and ginger notes, as I described them. It must have been the hops, I presume. The aroma has malt, caramel and fruity notes with a hint of earthy squash/pumpkin. The flavour has pretty much the same notes and a light sweetness and bitterness. It still strikes me as a bit odd, but much better than I remember it.
