Kopparfärgad öl med smutsvitt skum. Doft av malt, ljust knäckebröd, mörk frukt och kryddighet. Mycket av detta återkommer i smaken. En stram och torr avslutning.

Lovely malt, bisquity, as the labesl says. I thought this was filled with fruit and spices, but it is an old fashioned beer crafted with hops and malt. Clear amber color. Bittersweet, full of flavour. Englighs hops, English malt. I’d try this with a curry. A pleasant surprise. Bottle from Systembolaget.

Bottle 50 cl. Amber, clear with a medium offwhiote head. Aroma of malt, hops and caramel. Sweet taste with a caramel fruity end.

Bottle at home. Shared with Theis an Joergen. Sweet and extremely malty. Aromas of caramel malts and hints of liquirish. Cocoa malts. Boring hops... needs more. Light bodied. Medium carbonation. Dry, malty finish.

Bottle at Sune's - Thanks. Clear amber/brown - white head. Chocolate. Cocoa. Dry toasted. Ok malty. Light hoppy. Amber malts. Needs some fresh hops to be pleasant.

Bränd, nästan fadd smak först, smakar inte som en english ale brukar. Påminner mer om fruktig IPA. Eftersmaken bättre, men alltför besk.

Smell of rich malt and yeast, marmite. Pouts a medium creamy off white head. Copper colour. Light carbonation. Taste is very malty, spicy hop with some toast. Short bitter finish. Wow, great beer with tonnes of character.

Bottle, from Morrisons Scunthorpe. Chestnut brown, fluffy lasting white head and moderate condition. Big bready nose with hints of wood smoke and peppery spices, pleasant roasted bitterness apparent in the mouth with a suggestion of chocolate, some muted berry fruitiness. Finish is initially dry with a lasting chocolate bitterness and some malt.
