Bottle from Lidl. Pours dark copper, aromas of malts, dark fruits, nuts. Taste is unpleasantly malty and bitter, dry caramel. Briefly, you get what you pay for.

Little aroma, brownish clear beer seems very thin. No carbonation and little taste, though slight roast bitter. Not a favorite.

Draught at BrewDog Camden on 5 February 2014. Poured a clear ruby colour with a tight, white head. Sweet aroma of roasted nuts, boiled sweets and pastry. Initial flavours were somewhat artificial; mild chemical notes, some flowery hops and cereal. Finish was toffee sweetness mixed with a little metallic bitterness.

A dark orange-brown coloured beer with frothy off-white head. A strong, skunky hop aroma, rubbery, and metallic, but a light roasted malt element is evident in the background. Dry mouthfeel. A light hop taste, tangy and citrusy thats followed by a sweeter toffe like roasted malt flavour with a hint of nuttiness. This is evident well into the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
