Gaining its name from the golden hue of the beer, Whitstable Bay Blonde Lager offers an enhanced drinking experience through its floral aroma, paired with buttery biscuit base notes.

En frisk blonde øl. Der er ikke meget smag af gæren men fin humlet og sødme i den.

330ml bottle (K Kamppi, Helsinki) as "Faversham Steam Brewery, Whitstable Bay Blonde, Premium Lager"
Slightly mange-tout lagery aroma. Straw, large but quickly settling head. Clear glass bottle, so -1 to look. Dullish taste, simple malts, a bit flapjacky, harsh bitterness, says extract or abused to me. Skunked maybe? Pay twice. Pretty bulky brew, not the Shep that used to be able to hold its head high.

330ml bottle as No Logo Lager @ Franco Manca, Covent Garden. A pale golden yellow; effervescent with a small and mostly fading white head. Aromas of grain, corn, pale malt, citrus and a light toastiness. Similar to taste with a gentle back end bitterness. Not bad. Light-bodied, medium carbonation and a soft intensity, short length finish.

Bottle at home. Golden colour, medium white head. Medium carbonation. Strong aroma of floral hops, some of bready malts. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. The hops are quite abnormally strong for a lager, buts its surprisingly good.

Pale, blonde, with plenty of visible fizz and a foamy white head. Got some nice floral hop on the nose after opening, followed by some floral notes. Nice surprise for pale lager to smell of anything! Palate is light and it’s quite well carbonated. Flavour is dry, crisp and biscuity. No real bite at the end, but not half bad.

Bottle @ home. Fairly typical gold lager colour - nothing exciting. Bread-y aroma, with some maltiness. Oily mouthfeel, which isn’t entirely off-putting, but it doesn’t make it the most ’refreshing’ as lagers go. Quite smooth and inoffensive, nothing stands out nor does anything offend. It’s quite bland really.

Bottled 330ml (S-Market Pori)
Clear golden color, small white head. A bit skunky nose with grass, grains and some sweetier notes. Light-bodied. Pale malty, some earthy hoppyness, grass, light notes of toffee. A bit skunky feeling also in the flavor. Clear glass bottle kills.

Fruits and floral notes, a little bit of fizzyness. Cereal and hay, a very mild yet pleasant taste. A very nice pale ale, for sure.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear golden color with thin soapy white head and average carbonation in palate. Aroma is dusty, grainy, honeyish and floral. Taste starts with light sweet biscuit malt, following is fruity and slightly vegetably, while finish is moderate bitter. Light body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Light and refreshing lager...

UPDATED: JAN 16, 2016 So I entered this as the Franco Manca No Logo Lager and it got changed by the system to this, so apparently these are the same beer. Fairly clean and inoffensive lager, a little sweet, moderate bitterness. Drinkable, average.
