bottle 500 mL poured in mug, orange-copper color with minimum head, very clear and clean, aroms is malty, caramel and sweet-ish. Taste is mostly caramel malts, mild bitterness so very drinkable, medium body, a bit of silky palate, not bad, i thought it’d be worse considering the rating but id drink again.

Bottle from Mam & Dad’s holiday, London. Dark amber in colour with a thin white head of foam. It has an almond and slight burnt toffee flavour with a bitter, fruity and nutty finish.

Bottle, 0.50l. Clear amber brown color with thick soapy off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, honey, grass, dust and flowers. Taste starts with light sweet but rich caramel malt, follows citric and grassy with dry and mild spicy mouthfeel and moderate bitter finish. Light to medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Classic bitter, not so bad...

Pours a clear coppery amber color, topped with a medium sized white foamy head. Mild fruity nose, hardly any picked up, really. A bit grassy. Sweet and mildly fruity. No real bitterness. Just some mild bittery herbs in the aftertaste. Light, very drinkable. Nothing special, though.

Jag vet inte om det är tillfället som gör det, men jag upplever den som relativt smakrik. Passar fint till den gryddiga grillade korven.

Vattnig öl med något markerad beska på slutet. Fungerar som törstsläckare, men knappast mer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hippoman (520) - Durham, ENGLAND - JUL 15, 2015
500ml Bottle from Bargain Booze, New Mills, Derbyshire. Pours dark reddish amber with a foamy white head that recedes to nothing within a minute. Unusual but not unpleasant dusty, earthy, slightly fruity aroma with hints of grape. Taste has nice balance of fruity sweetness, malt and hop bitterness. Full bodied, different and quite enjoyable, although probably just for one.
