Appearance: copper color. Great head, rocky, ivory color, and medium persistency. Aroma: caramel malts, butter, vanilla, peaches and banana’s smells. Slight yeast’s touch. Light aromatic hoppyness with dried-herbs note like hay. Nuts and almonds. Flavor: caramels barley start and nutty progress. Ephemeral fruitiness similar to peaches and banana’s reminiscences from yeast. Lasting dry-final from hops, with intensive dried-herb touch like hay and chamomile. Nutty and candy malts aftertaste. Palate: medium body with slightly rough texture. Medium carbonated. Nice nutty and dried-herbs (maybe from Gem’s hops) touches in noose and mouth. With own character.

500ml bottle. Light orange, tiny head. Aroma of lightly roasted malts. Feels nice in the mouth. Simple malty taste, nothing clever, but solid, and with a good long bitter aftertaste. Tasty.

Pale refreshing brew with nice hoppiness. Kind of like a bitter with IPA qualities.

[648-20070921] 500mL. Aroma has a bit of unpleasant skunky hay. Clear, orange amber body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Toasted cereal flavour still holds hints of skunk. Medium body. Unimpressive in clear bottles.

Bottle, 4.5%. Weak fruit aroma. Clear orange colour. Very small white head. Medium bitterness, with a hint of fruit and yeast. Not spectacular, but in good balance and süffig.

Bottle. Pours a hazy honey with frothy head. Faint flowery aroma. Rather faint taste and weak body as well, metallic finish with a rather nice hoppy bitterness. Rather bland overall, though.

Bottle (500ml - clear). From Waitrose. Clear bubbly gold, good-sized creamy off-white head. The aroma’s pretty bland, grassy, somewhat dry, a little sweet - but it does have that slight eau-de-skunk, even a touch of metal - and I did take it from the back of the shelf, it was out of the lights. The taste is a touch metallic, there’s dry yeast, slightly sour biscuit malt, grassy, pungent, only slightly skunky hops. Very weak body, a little pungency left on the tongue, the actual taste fades pretty quickly. Somewhere on the "meh" to "neh" scale.

A Mes rate: Bottle, present from Sim’s mum. Orangey coloured beer in the classy Sheps clear bottle. Slightly floral with a touch of dicetyl. Very dull. Not at all great.
