Aroma: Medium malt, caramel. Medium hops, floral, berries, Appearance: Clear, copper body. Massive, off-white, rocky head. Good retention. Flavour: Medium bitterness. Medium malt, grainy, light metallic. Medium-light hops, floral, berries. Dry finish with lingering bitterness. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body, Low, creamy carbonation. Overall: Stunning aroma. Flaska systemet - Maltig arom ingen höjdare direkt. Kopparfärgad och klar med vitt skum som försvinner snabbt. tunn känsla i munnen, tydlig beska med väldigt lite smak av citrus. Smakar faktiskt som en Bishops Finger.

Bottle - deep amber with a fizzy pale brown head which soon fizzles away to nothing. The aroma is just awful, maybe because its in a clear bottle, but its mostly just an overwhelming aroma of corn. There’s some grass and malt also if you try to find it. Taste is somewhat redeeming - malts, grass and lemon followed by some sweet malts and a medium bitter finish. Some hints of corn in the taste. Medium body, high carbonation.

500ml clear bottle with a nicely designed shape and artwork on the label, poured into a pint glass. Appearance is clear amber with a small white head, that dissipated quickly leaving no lacing. Aroma of caramel and biscuits. Flavours of caramel, biscuits, toffee and honey. Taste is light sweet and medium-heavy bitter. Palate is light bodied, slightly oily texture and average carbonation. Overall a good sessionable Bitter that goes well with grilled food, the flavours are mild but pleasant.

50 cl bottle from Coop. Pours clear golden/copper with ultra thin white head (more like a rim). Taste is bitter. Low carbonation. Some fruits aromas and a hint of caramel. A bit watery and thin. Average ale this one.

About 200 yen from the Seiyu in Minami-Kusatsu for a 500ml bottle, 4.5% - this is dirt cheap for Japan. I am not a fan of clear bottles but what can you do. It pours a light copper gold with a light beige/off-white head. The aroma is quite malty, graham, biscuit, caramel plus at first you get some skunkiness but it isn’t that pronounced. The body is quite thin with a rough sandpaperish carbonation giving it a sharp mouthfeel. The taste is grainy, sawdust, a bitter hit and a brief sweet caramel hit. The finish is pretty good with a nice biscuity caramel plus some hoppy bitterness. A decent cheap ale for the price.

w zapachu wyraźne toffi i karmel z lekkimi nutami ziołowymi. ładny, bursztynowy, przejrzysty kolor ze średnio trwałą pianą. w smaku pełne, lekko karmelowe z wyraźną, ale lekką goryczką.
