3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Tesco. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin white head and some broken lace. The aroma is creamy malt with a little grassy hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a dry weak woody palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Good condition for clear-bottled supermarket wank: fine white froth over alluringly brilliant bronze. Somewhat metallic US/Williams Bros aroma with decent malt and tangerine-fruity, lime-nodding hop subdued by cooking and aluminium. Clean and weakly floral London Pride-like flavour with a sheepish squirt of lime. It’s actually alright.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Golden and quite fizzy. Hoppy aroma and has some citrus too. Flavour has simple biscuity malts and a touch of aromatic hop.

Bottle. Amber body. Thin white head. Spice, red fruit, caramel, hops, banana, black malt, that awful Shepherd Neame house smell. Tangy. Dry finish.
