McTapps (6324) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - AUG 9, 2014
Bottle bought at the Middle Farm Cider Center in Lewes - Firle. Pours out in a clear golden colour with smooth body. Aroma of ripe red apples and caramel. Taste of ripe apples, light green apples, pears, leaves, sugar and caramel. Peated hints. Nice one yet it h´finishes too dry for my taste.

Bottle from the Cider Farm, Lewes shared with McTapps. Starting off with some golden delicious apples in the aroma and some vanilla in the back. Developing a great mix of sweet and sour in the taste. Well, more sweet than sour. Balanced carbo, medium dry finish with some earthy moments and floral influence. Some slight bitterness in the aftertaste.

Appearance: Clear golden amber. Aroma: Apple, wood, note of earthiness and spice. Taste: Medium sweetness and low tartness. Palate: Thick coarse texture, light/medium body, average carbonation, dry, lingering sweet and quite tart apple finish, with a hint of pepperiness and strangely very subtle marzipan notes (very faint). Comments: Tasty.
