Got to be one of the best ciders I have had the pleasure of drinking, I buy it in 1 gallon keg’s from Sheppy’s farm, I have a friend who visits the west country 3 or 4 time a year and picks me up a couple of gallons, it is a still very clear cider, very very drinkable, short shelf life, you only get 2 weeks to drink it from when its put in your keg, I pay just under £10 for a gallon because my friend takes back the empty keg’s, but with out the return keg its about £13, bargain too.

Keg dispensed @ White Lion, Heptonstall. Clear straw-yellow coloured Cider. Crisp with a small dryness in its aftertaste. Not too sweet but its apple is flavoursome and potent.

Beautiful sharp apple aroma. Pale and hazy. Taste is packed full of apples, but has a nice dry baconiness too - I love that in ciders. Some floral blossoms in teh aroma too. Totally gorgeous. So Sheppy’s. 3.6 is underrate, surely? All those crap beers in the last 2 hours have skewed my compass.
