Pours a mid gold with a disappearing head. Aroma features a complex blend of crisp apple, oaky tannin, and a touch of wild ferment. On the palate crisp apple , tannin and a wild astringent note lead to a solid sour finish. Fantastic cider, dangerously drinkable.

Aug 23, 2008 Bottle. Gold with no head and moderate carbonation. Fresh apple aroma with a hint of tartness. Surprisingly easy drinking for the ABV, with a dry yet juicy apple flavour. Very drinkable and another good single varietal from Sheppys.

Mar 20, 2006 Bottled. Sharp and crisp, does exactly what you’d expect for this varietal with a lovely astringent feel to it.

Jan 24, 2006 Aroma is maybe a bit minimal but some frush apples and cherry maybe kick in? Taste is also quite fresh sharp apples, a decent amount of sourness and dry finish. Good effort.

Jun 28, 2005 Light golden colour and a fresh aroma. Taste was interesting for someone who doesn’t know much about cider: sweetness merging into sourness and finally to something not far removed from bitterness. Made me want to explore further the world of cider.
