downender (1477), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Jul 26, 2008 Bottle from ASDA. Clear, deep golden in colour with no head yet plenty of spritzy carbonation. Sharp fresh apple aroma. Remarkably easy drinking given the ABV, with plenty of dry apple flavours, a touch of oak and a long, dry finish. An excellent drink on a summer’s day. Papsoe (9951), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 24, 2008 (Bottle 50 cl) Clear golden with a tiny head. Extremely concentrated and very fresh apple aroma. Medium in body and low in carbonation. First some acidity and then a bitterness that comes creeping to give a rather astringent finish. But quite lovely - and again with the alcohol amazingly well hidden. 190208 somersetcider (2), England does not count Nov 8, 2007 this is (without doubt) the best single variety cider i have ever tasted (and i have tasted loads!) - its a real cider drinkers cider. jt has a really flavour curve that starts with a sharp apple tang - you can taste the orchard. As you swallow the flavour slowly develops to a crisp dry ever-so-slightly bitter end. i drink many ciders all the time and this is one i always come back to a and compare all others too! do yourself a favour and buy a few bottles - its tremendous!
god i wish it was available on tap! christ i would die and go to heaven!!
For all you Americans reading this - this is what cider should taste like! i know you guys are good at recreating flavours - RECREATE THIS ONE AND YOU WILL GET RICH! (send me a case first to check!) Rastacouere (5226), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Sep 27, 2007 Appearance

Comments: Vanilla touched exquisite cider with a most accurate positioning of woody, apple and flowery flavours.
Fin (2075), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Dec 18, 2006 Bottle, glorious golden coloured cider, that is wonderfully refreshing with a great appley and woody aroma and a taste of wood in this pleasantly medium/dry but erring more towards dry cider, very nice indeed.
