Bottle from Tesco in Ryde shared with McTapps. Definitely a deep and balanced cider with a nice mix of sweet and Spur accomopanied by the right abv. Some lemons, apples, bit of sugar and peaches in the end. No rocket science but a fine quality brew.

Bottle bought at Tesco in Ryde. Pours out in a deep golden colour with smooth body. Aroma of ripe apples and oak. Taste of ripe, red apples, oak, liquer, leaves and caramel. Finish of oak and with a dry but also smooth mouthfeel. Nice one to enjoy.

Palate: Thick smooth texture, medium/heavy body, average carbonation, lingering astringent, tart, tangy apple, chalky, toffee finish. Comments: Lovely. 2013 Vintage.

Small taste from a bottle at home. The rest was used for cooking a lovely pork hotpot. Aroma is sharp apple with some parmessan cheese and wood. Crystal clear greenish orange coloured pour with a fleeting fine ehite head. Flavour is dry crisp appes and wood / oak tanin in the finish. Nice dry palate and slightly vinous on the tongue. Moderately low carbonation. Alcohol is fairly present. Decent oaked cider.

As Somerset Oak Matured Vintage Cider. Clear golden with nice visible carbonation. Fresh apples, grapes. Has a big wine-like woody touch, medium dry with funky finish. Sweetness is just right, as is the carbonation. Nice stuff.

Bottle: Labeled as Somerset Oak Matured Vintage Cider. Served in a shaker glass: Small lively head that disappears within seconds. Headless clear yellow colored cider. Aroma is a bit vinous, oak, fermented apples, manure, light chalky and farm fields. Flavours of fermented apples, apple peel, alcohol, dust, dry, grainy alcohol, nasty bitter, wood, some nasty grains and malt tones, yeast, cheese and some pear. Aftertaste is dry, grainy, fermented apple dust and some farm tones. Low carbo, creamy dry mouthfeel, medium bodied and a dry light watery texture. This smells very nice but the taste is rather out of tune. It has a good firm dryness. Decent but not really good!

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour, fizzy head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of tart apple, wood, vanilla. Taste is juicy apple with lingering oak & vanilla notes. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tannns at the finish. Quite drinkable.
