2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with an amber hue and a thin white head. Aroma is full of hay, grass and alfalfa notes, very earthy. Flavor has similar earthy notes with grassy hops and a bit of a metallic taste.

Yep, the beer was decent. I think the guy on the label looks like he could be a medieval pimp rather than a sheriff. It does say in the beers description he has an affinity for the ladies.

Got this as part of my beer of the month club. Pours a nice dark rustic orange color. Medium sized head that fades to a small head. Decent lacing. Aroma malts, citrus, hops. Flavor was not as sharp as I would have hoped.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy amber/orange with a generous off-white head and nice sticky lacing. Modest citrus notes on the nose supported by hints of caramel malts. Flavors come on more strongly, with a floral hops bitterness that yields temporarily to the doughy maltiness but returns again strong at the end. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, and the bitterness lingers.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour is a thick cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is a decent hops with a stong earthy malt. Flavor is at first more of those heavy malts then follows with a pine hop left on the tounge. Ths is a pretty decent IPA especially when i was not expecting much

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a 12oz bottle into a pint glass.
The color is a cloudy, deep amber with a nice foamy white head with some slight lacing.
The smell is light but does have some pine flavor mixed with some maple flavor.
The taste is pretty bold with a deep maple syrup flavor mixed with a slightly bitter pine flavor as well. Some hints of caramel and a tiny juice flavor as well in the background.
A pretty smooth beer, the lightness is pretty surprising but welcome with a nice finish.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Thanks to Dustin for this trade. Especially considering he got a Kirin in return. This IPA pours copper-colored with with a nicely sized head of rocky bubbles. The aroma is typical IPA, consisting of hops and floral resin. The body is medium in heaviness. The flavor is nice, It is neither under nor over par for an IPA. It is probably a local favorite and is certainly highly drinkable. However, it doesn’t stand out and is not worth going out of your way to try. Most importantly, however... it is better than the Kirin I traded :)

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very cloudy amber color, with lots of haze and "floaties". Modest aroma, but nice herbal tang flavor and after-taste. Medium body.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Roasty aroma of resin and orange. It’s appearance is golden-orange and very hazy. Didn’t look at all appetizing to me. Looked more like a cider than an IPA. A medium bitterness is all up front, then nothing but an unbalanced, lingering, hoppy dryness. I would not recommend this IPA at all, unless it was like $.75.
