Pours with a nice head however the malt overshadows the hops. Very mild for an IPA. Definately a drinkable beer; similar to Harpoon IPA just needs a bit of a kick in the hop department. That said, I do like it still.

Rated in 2010 (Backlog) - Amber in color with a small off-white head. Aroma is of grain and grass. Taste is of light herbs, cardboard and grain.

12 oz bottle from a $4.99 6-pack. Pours a hazy amber color with off-white head and good lacing. Smells of citrus and piney hops. Aroma has the same but lots of caramel malts. Medium body with decent carbonation. Flavor is full of caramel malts, with the hops providing a more bitter finish. An decent IPA at half the price of most of its competitors. I would gladly do this again, although perhaps not at twice the price.

On draft. Aroma of herbal piney hops. Pours hazy, earthy and herbal hop flavours, heavy dry hop style.

Bottle into pint glass. Pours a hazy amber with a large white head that fell very slow and left nice lacing on the glass. Nose was of pine and citrus and those flavors were dominant throughout the glass, but I did detect a little caramel sweetness from the malt as well. this is definitely a bitter IPA, but the flavor was balanced and refreshing. Very drinkable.

Pours amber with a white head. Grapefruit aroma. Bitter taste with some malty background. An okay IPA but nothing noteworthy.

Pours a three finger cream head that fades slowly and leaves a good lace. Hazy amber color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Pine/grapefruit nose and flavor is strong pine/grapefruit hops with occasional hints of caramel, lingering bitter aftertaste. No doubt this is an IPA. $2.15 for a 12 oz bottle from Julio’s Liquors Westborough, Ma.

Aroma - heavy floral, citrus, fruit; Appearance - very hazy copper, fluffy head, excellent lacing; Taste - basic hop front, mild citrus back, finish has a strong long-lasting tang; Palate - smooth mouthfeel, decent body; Overall - pretty average brew for the style, good in most areas though nothing really stands out.

i bought this for cheap. it’s not great, but for the price less than 4 buck a 6 pack, not bad. bottled. pours amber with a decent offwhite head. aromas of citrus and spruce. moderately bitter. light on typical ipa hoppiness, but still has some flavor. light bodied for and IPA and it has a moderately bitter finish. decent.

Amber pour with off-white head. Plenty of hop aroma with some malt in the background. Spicy hop flavor is there with the malt nicely balanced. The hop aftertaste is a little bitter. Good lacing. The head lasted till the end of the drink.
