Glouglouburp (2006), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Jul 10, 2008 Simply called Pale Ale at the pub. An entry exists for this beer but with no rating. I’m assuming this is the one</br>
In short: A very juicy fruity (grapefruits/citrus) Pale Ale. Refreshing session beer.
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear golden body with a very small off-white head
In long: Nose is very fruity and so is the taste. This is a glass of grapefruit juice mixed in with an equal part of citrus fruits juice. The honeyed malts with a light caramel touch are somewhat overwhelmed by the juicy hops. Good summer session beer. That was my second of two beers at this pub and both were solid offerings. I wish this pub was closer to my place, but just the pub, not anything around it, cause Detroit, you know…
