2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at Sherwood Brewpub. Amber with a medium white head that sticks around. Aroma is mildly woodsy with toasted malt and light citrus. Taste of light citrus juice, light caramel and light bitterness. Thin and run of the mill. Like a grindstone cowboy, Riding out on a horse in a star-spangled rodeo…

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This has been called many variations of Pale Ale, but is the same thing in the end. This is a mild, session, pale ale with some fruity notes. Nothing special, but definitely drinkable.

In short: A very juicy fruity (grapefruits/citrus) Pale Ale. Refreshing session beer.
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear golden body with a very small off-white head
In long: Nose is very fruity and so is the taste. This is a glass of grapefruit juice mixed in with an equal part of citrus fruits juice. The honeyed malts with a light caramel touch are somewhat overwhelmed by the juicy hops. Good summer session beer. That was my second of two beers at this pub and both were solid offerings. I wish this pub was closer to my place, but just the pub, not anything around it, cause Detroit, you know…
