Draft at the brewery. Pours a hazy golden color with an off white head. Aroma is a nice sweet fleshy fruit hops. Flavor is a bit more mild, fruity, hint of Belgian yeast. Light on the palate for a double IPA, but still tasty.

Pour on tap at Oskar Blues HMLS, hazy/milky golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of bread, dough, slight yeasty, earthy notes into some grass, pine, some hints of spice, very spicy and yeasty overall. Taste is a mix of bitter orange, grapefruit, lots of dough, yeast, hints of grainy notes, finishing fairly bitter, dry. I think I got the bottom of the keg, very milky and yeasty tasting.

Keg at Maui Brewing Co brewpub, Upper Kanapali, 23/04/14. Hazed orange amber with a moderate off white head. Nose is candied orange peel, Belgian yeast notes, hoppy tones, root beer lickings, pineapple, grapefruit. Taste comprises candied orange peel, bubblegum, pink grapefruit, yeast esters, pineapple. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close laced with subtle hop bitterness. Ok Belgoo IPA.

Aromas of tropical and overripe fruit while the flavor is pine, resin and marijuana. It’s medium bodied and oily. Probably the best beer I’ve had from Maui. A must try if you come upon this treasure.

Pours a bright deep golden color in the tulip snifter. Big grapefruit aroma up front with some underlying, very humble Belgian spice and green grape. The mouthfeel is perfect. Oily, full, and carbonated just well enough. A lot of depth in the flavor. Similar to Lagunitas sucks. The grapefruit is undeniable. There’s some rich cannabis involved. This is an excellent beer.
