33cl bottle from Midori, Nagano. Pours slightly hazy golden with a modest pale white head. Fruity aroma dominated by citrus with notes of tropical fruits and hints of malt and grass. Moderate sweet with lovely, fresh hoppy flavours and a nice bitterness. Medium body with carbonation slightly on the soft side. Nice APA!

Pour is a very cloudy amber orange with thin white head. Aroma is mainly tropical fruit. Similar tropical fruit flavour profile with a pine hop finish. Nothing bad, but nothing memorable either.

Draught at 23 Keg Nagoya in 2014, This was the best Pale Ale I tried after searching out many craft beers in Nagoya, Nagano, Osaka and Kyoto

On draft at When Pigs Fly in Maine. Straightforward, old school pale ale from Japan. The hop flavor is on the lighter side, playing more of a supporting role, and the malt is fresh abd light. Refreshing and very drinkable.

Poured into a taster showing cloudy yellow, moderate filtration, and barely any foam. The nose shows roasted corn and hints of roasted seafood. (Is this bottle off) The palate is moderately carbonated and light bodied. A bit of extremely light and barely perceivable lager-like malts on the palate. Barely any flavor and very watery. Is my bottle off?

Pours a slightly hazy gold, half a finger of white head. The aroma is lovely, bright and tropical, a little herb touch, grassy. Tastes good too, the hops bring a lively taste, grapefruit, pine, orange, some malt showing through. The feel is light and fresh, it goes down smoothly, a dry inviting finish. Well worth it.

Some citrus and a little hay, but a light beer all in all. Soft carbonation. Light bitter finish. Hazy golden pour. Easy drinking. Tap at Churchkey.

Bottle shared at a tasting. Hazy yellow color, minimal head. Aroma of fruity hops (like mango, papaya), green piney notes. Sweetish, fruity, solid hoppy backbone, slightly green, pleasant crispy bitter finish. Light bodied, easy drinking and well made.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks zvsn. Hazy golden-yellow with small off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, some herbs, grassy and a bit malty. The flavor has nice hoppy bitterness, grassy and "green", notes of citrus and tropical fruits. Soft carbonation, light-bodied. Balanced and pleasant to drink.
