COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tim's translation: The DPA (Draft Pale Ale) is 5.2% and limited to draft only. The DPA uses pilsner malt and four types of American and British aroma hops that produce a strong nose, which stands out in contrast to the pale color. Compared to the pale ale this is charactertized with a dry body and bright hop aroma.

Tap at Craft Beer Bar, Yokohma. Had had a few by this time. Golden coloured, small off-white head. Aroma is floral, skunk, light yeasty. Taste is citrus, very nice, lightly hoppy, nice yeastiness, bit like a shandy in a good way. Easy drinking.

Golden in colour, small creamy head. Semi-sweet smell on the nose w/ some pine notes. Taste is highlighted by smooth malt presence and a crisp, gentle hop profile. Balance is the key element here and this Pale Ale stands out as a supreme thirst quencher.

A great pale...apparently they use their own hops rather than pellets for this DPA. Fresh and delicious as you like. Quite heavy body for this style. fantastic!!

UPDATED: AUG 8, 2009 On Tap at Beer Belly, 2007. Dark gold color with copper. Rather tall head. Very hoppy aroma, lightish on malt, lots of citrus—grapefruit—rather sour. Flavor is much more malty, with strong hops as well. It is medium sweet and amazingly fruity. Sweet and sour finish with good hops, and quite long lasting. A very refreshing, fruity and citrus flavored beer. Good malt and better hops. Great balance, very drinkable.

Draft. Color is gold with moderate head. I feel delicate orange aroma. Mouthfeel is medium light. Thinking of this aroma and mouthfeel,I prefer less alcoholic ale,but it?s good.

[on gravity at Popeye; listed at the bar as "Pale Ale", so I’m not entirely sure that this is the beer] Blast of pine hops followed by some butterscotchy white wine oak. Nearly clear brass with no head. A bit weak malt flavour for the prominent bitterness, flavour balance on the hops side. Peach and not apricot notes. Extremely low carbonation, medium to light body.

Clear deep golden color. This head, with a moderate aromatic nose of oranges and apples. The mouth has a soft mouth feel and is hop accented, which must be the British hops. The finish is aggressively bitter, this must be the American hops. Not bad
