Drank from a bottle. Very nice! The hops are not that strong but other typical ipa features at there.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: OCT 26, 2015 Poured into a shaker showing light filtration, sparse foam and a dry orangish-brown.
The aroma shows a very light citric orange.
The flavor shows a lot of the same with a bitterness that is heavily softened out by the orange flavors. Light bodied and heavily carbonated, this is a very fruit forward forward, simple and easy drinking IPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: SEP 13, 2015 330ml bottle from Shinanoya. Poured into a tulip pint. Golden caramel color with a modest soapy off-white head. Fairly good lacing throughout. Pine needles, resin, biscuit and grain on the nose. Medium body, bitter on the palate with a touch malty sweetness. Slightly sticky texture but has some tea-like texture that peeks out as it warms up. Average carbonation with a lasting bitter finish. Re-rate: 2015 Fresh Hop version made with Shiga’s own hops. Pours a clear orange gold with a small white head that lasts throughout. Good citrus fruit nose with some orange and light pine. Taste is really bright citrus with good crisp and dry finish. Some sweetness on the palate with a bit of stickiness. Very good IPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
33 cl bottle at Owls Brew in Singapore. Allowing for the fact that this had travelled some, I was impressed by the direct hop, firm malt base and layered nature of what appeared to be a serious beer.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear, copper coloured body with a tan head. Nice, hoppy aroma with grass and citrus notes. Taste is not very prominent, only slight bitterness towards the end. Watery mouthfeel, fairl low carbonation. On the lower end of the IPA spectrum.
