Bottle @ home, picked up at Supermarket Liquor for $12.50. Pours a pale straw yellow appearance with long lasting legs. Pear, coconut, birthday cake aroma. Not super aromatic. Very smooth. Booze is hardly noticeable. Slightly doughy mouth feel. Sweet vanilla, coconut, fluffy cake flavor. I don’t really know a whole hell of a lot about sakes, but this one was extremely smooth and had pretty light and soft flavors. Kind of fun to try.

It pours clear with a tint of yellow. The aroma has notes of: rice pudding, pepper, shitake mushrooms, honeydew melon, and alcohol. The taste is medium sweet that finishes tart and medium acidic; there are notes of: cantaloupe, rice pudding, and pepper. The palate is medium-full bodied, long finish, and slight viscosity. Overall, a very beautiful sake, simple, yet well done.

10/29/10 @azwine yellow tinted clear... kinda the same as the dawn but with less legging. the aroma is fairly nil... starch, flowers, slight melon. the flavor is a bit hot... alcohol is a spicy dry beast... notes of pears and dust. medium bodied, thinner, drier and less fruity than the dawn but prolly easier to drink a lot. 6/3/6/3/14
