2.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle @ home. Dark golden yellow appearance with an off white head. Sweet honey, wheat malty nose with that nasty macro aroma. Slightly syrupy, honey wheat, sugary, bitter macro flavor. I just canít stand that hugely produced macro taste and smell.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Poured a clear amber color with an minimal frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate wheat and small hop aroma. Light to medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from some guy in Texas whoís in the navy? :) Pours pale or orangey gold - depending on how itís held to the light. with a passing white head. Smells almost like honey. Flavor certainly suggests wheat with a light touch of honey. Itís not super sweet, and it is somewhat astringent, with definite bitter. But noble hop? Whereís the grass/herb? Submerged in a whole bunch of wheat malt? So itís confusing, but itís growing on me.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a hazy golden, with a light citrus-wheat aroma. Flavor is pretty much straight up wheat. Not a whole lot of the banana-bubblegum, but a bit of citrus backnotes. Pretty decent. Flavor is pretty light for 6.2%. Not bad though.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 ounce bottle - $1.49 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a pale golden body, great clarity, and topped with an airy, sudsy, white head.
Smell: Smells sweet and grain like a sugary bowl of morningtime cereal, before the milk is poured on, of course.
Taste: Sugary-toned upfront, helping to give it a definite cereal taste throughout, though not particularly tasting at all of wheat, though it claims to by 50% wheat. Given the clarity, maybe they filtered this one to death. Faint notions of apricot and honey. Modest hops, lightly bitter. Touch of medicinal touch alcohol near the sweetish, still very cereal-tasting finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation.
Overall: Spoetzl tried to go BIG but still itís pretty light and not particularly interesting, although now they lost the refreshing aspect of it.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz. Clear golden with a nice little head and tats of lace; pretty, but looks like a lager more than a wheat ale. Nose of citrus, yeast and dry wheat flour. Flavor is a blend of honey, light lemon. a touch of dry grass. Medium body is smoothish, tingly and well-balanced.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a lasting white head, over a clear, light gold body....nose is cereal, biscuit, toast, light herbs....taste is cereal, wheat, minimal herbal tones, light, light bitter finish....mouth feel is light, carbonation high. This is almost a Pale Lager in style and has few characteristics expected of a Wheat Ale. BJCP 6/3/10/4/6

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The beer pours as explained - straw yellow in color, it has a huge frothy head on top, really nice head. The aroma is light sweetness, pure. The flavor is smooth, a big dose of sweet wheat flavors that hit my palate nicely, on a lighter body than expected. It finishes easy with soft wheat sweet notes settling.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Doesnít look like a wheat ale in the glass, looks more like a lager. The aroma is decent, the flavor is of a strong wheat ale, not really a double (I have no idea what a double wheat even tastes like), overall decent but not exceptional.
