(12oz bottle) Small beige head atop cola black body. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, roast, some burnt, coffee, faint banana. Taste is medium sweet, coffee, roast, some caramel, sugar, chocolate. Light body, light acidity.

Jul 25, 2008 bottle - Pours dark brown and smells mainly of a lightly roasted chocolate malt. It has a sweet roast malt flavor with a hint of dark fruit. This beer has a too thin body and finishes lightly sweet. Not bad.

Jul 21, 2008 Poured from bottle. Looks just like Coca-Cola but the head doesn’t last as long - after a minute it was totally gone with almost no carbonation visible. I couldn’t detect much of an aroma. It was sweet and tasted like weak burnt coffee. It was pleasant to the mouth but the burnt taste was just a tad too strong.

does not count  Jul 21, 2008 One of the better beers Shiner has produced. Dark and strong. with a crisp aftertaste, though it does not do well warm and should be drank slightly chilled.

Jul 16, 2008 Austin, Tx. - Harlons - Airport - 12 oz bottle . Somewhat neutral aroma with a hint of licorice and coffee. Dark brown cola colored pour with no head. Flavor has some chicory notes. licorice, a bit of day old coffee. Not bad at all. Mouthfeel somewhat thin - but true to stlyle. Would drink again.
