Clear golden coloured with a small white ehad.
Sweet aroma of caramel and liquorice with notes of hops.
Sweet flavour of caramel, liquorice and hops with notes of rye bread and pine needles. Cornfield (4332), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Aug 14, 2007 This deep golden lager has "a blend of rich imported malts to make this the darkest lager possible". Apparently the brewers don’t get around much, because it’s barely a couple of tones darker than the typical BMC. The aroma is faint, pale malt with an earthy hop bitterness. The flavor is inoffensive, echoing the mild aroma and having the addition of mineral water. Drinkable, but, why? Murray’s Wine and Spirits, Whitefish Bay, WI
