12 oz. bottle from Zinister. Pour is dark golden, with a medium white head. Aroma is hop and malt sweetness. Flavor is a little too sharp, I get kind of an old grain and sour something in it. Not my favorite, but glad I got a chance to try it. Thanks again Michael!

12oz bottle; Aroma of bread and some fruit in the mix. Gold body with big white head. Flavor was alright mosly bitter hop but the fruit would show up now and then. Good brew could drink this while playing cards at family getogethers.

UPDATED: FEB 27, 2009 I may be giving it too low an aroma score, as I have a bit of a cold and I can’t smell so well. Never the less I am catching a delightfully sweet aroma of malt. The head pours nice ad billowy but sadly diminishes, leaving a lasting small head and just a little lace on the glass. At first I had a very good crisp and dry taste, after a few sips there’s a good malty sweetness at the back of the tongue, which takes over the palate halfway through the bottle. It’s on the malty side, but you can really taste the hops, well balanced. I very much expected a Marzen here, but it indeed is not, which pleasantly surprised me. A very smooth beer with a fantastic taste, certainly something I would not hesitate serving to guests, certainly not in a bad way whatsoever. The smoothness and sort of inoffensiveness makes it slightly less special, never the less it is delightful. Recommended, pick some up while it still exists.

12oz bottle-A light amber body iwth a huge white head and an aroma of malt, toffee, and slight hops. Taste of sweet malt and more sweetness with a somewhat dry finish. Not bad but not good.

Medium brown color, 1.5 inch light tan frothy head. Nice mild barley malt aroma with a hint of spice. Smooth and full flavored. My favorite shiner beer.

Orange color, paler than true amber, a big foamy head. Aroma is slight butterscotch, a hint of brown sugar, a touch of herbal hops, and perhaps a vague vegetal character. Palate is lighter than I’d like - right up front this beer lacks body. Just a touch of caramel malt sweetness - moves into a nice spicy hop finish though. I wouldn’t say its watery, but I do like more malt backbone to amber lagers. I think this could serve as a refreshing beer with flavor, when such is needed, though.

Pretty much like the others say: not that bad, but kinda dull.
Too much to add, too little to say :)
