1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Mora2000 (2732) - Dallas, Texas, USA - SEP 16, 2010
The beer pours a light yellow color with a white head. The aroma is very subtle. I may get a little grain, but the beer hardly has any aroma at all. The flavor is grain, wheat, grass and corn. Nothing too special and really not too appetizing. Medium carbonation and a light mouthfeel. Not one of the better beers from Shiner.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 weihenweizen (633) - West Virginia, USA - SEP 16, 2010
Refrigerated bottle poured into a shaker. Pours pale straw in color with small white head that dissapates fast. Light aroma, very little lacing, and medium/high carbonation. Taste is nice light crisp refreshing malty pilsener, not much hops in the finish. Would be good for a session beer.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 rubbishystuff (1202) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 21, 2010
Better than some of the other lagers out there, a little on the crisper tasting side. Other than that not much going on. Serving: Bottle

This is a Pilsner? Tastes more like Coors to me. Not terrible though. One that I buy for parties.

Eh, its drinkable, and it beats the hell out of a Budweiser, but its thin and bland enough that I wouln’t ever buy it

Clear light yellow with a fizzy white head. Malty vanilla aroma and a watery malty taste.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 daknole (5474) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUL 16, 2010
Super pale yellow with a white head that disappeared faster tha Paris Hiltons virginity. I would guess that the corn and cracker malt aroma smells slightly better than Paris Hiltons panties, but who knows. Flavor has lots of creamed corn, ritz crackers, white bread...I wonder if this tastes better than Paris Hiltons.....? Ha, probably so. But thats not saying much, huh?
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 CanIHave4Beers (2002) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - JUL 12, 2010
The site picture has my favorite label for this beer, don’t know why I felt the need to say that... but it does. The beer pours a moderately pale golden color with a big tight head that stays pretty just about long enough to take a picture of it, then it starts fizzing away and loosening up, finally settling on a small moderately tight head. The aroma is slightly fruity, bready & yeasty. It reminds me of the sort of stereotypical idea of what "beer" was supposed to smell like when I was a kid. So this smells like PBR from the 80’s. I’m not sure if that’s a compliment, but it’s pleasant enough for me. I like the flavor right off the bat, it reminds me a little of a lot of good American style pilsners I’ve sampled within the last year. It’s got that fruitiness, but that truly herbal bitter hop bite, and it’s fairly dry. It’s got a mild corny character but not in a sweet or a fusel way. The palate is a little bland from the looks of the beer it could have been livelier on the tongue.
