Its decent. If it was the last beer I had to drink, by no means would I quit drinking. Sweet, pale, smells good, golden lager. Light and fluffy. Not as good as new belguims Sunshine which is similar, but better.

I am a fan of light er beers. I found this one extremely easy to drink. Overall Shiner Beers makes pretty good brew.

From a bottle poured a clear straw color with a fair amount of head. Very light flavor with no real finish.

12 oz bottle pours a pale yellow with a big white head. Aroma is sweet and fruitty. Pours and looks like a pale lager; well it tastes like one too. Not much better than a Bud Light.

starts out stronger than it is, finishes weak, no real after-taste to speak of, although a hint of malt, not worth the price, but not bad

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2008 Pours lame pale, clear yellow with a large 2.5" foamy head. If you blink, youll miss the head. Bubbles a little bit. Good musty and doughy smell like a blonde should have. Flavor is weaker than the aroma and tastes like very light yeast, water, and hops. Moderate finish with a little bit of bite. Finish has a little bit of a metallic taste to it. Must be from the 99 year old brew kettle? They made the mistake of adding CO2 to this beer when what they should have done is not filtered it so much and left some of the flavor in it. Draws down clean as a whistle.

Had one of these after work Monday night, and boy, did it hit the spot! Sweet nose of fruity grains, and wheat; reminds me of a czech pils. Pours sparkling golden straw. The mostly lasting stiff & dense white head is very creamy and leaves nice lace. Neutral start with moderate acidity. The finish is slightly spicy and sweet with bready overtones. The light watery body is soft and the finish feels crisp. Nice surprise.

The the best beer from Shiner for sure. Pours light and golden. Flavor lacks a lot. Zero sophistication here. I wish it was better:(
