Tastes similar to Shiner Light. Has a aroma similar to other Shiner beers. Good drinkability.

Very good. Almost tastes like a like. If you go with the Spoetzl Brewery though, stick to the darker stuff.

This almost seems like light beer. Not bad, just not real good. No need to buy anymore of it

I didn’t have any real problems with the Shiner Blonde (bottle). It was pretty much a regular ol’ beer, but it had a certain sweetness that seemed to distinguish it from others. Of course, it was also pretty ripe, and I caught a whiff of that nasty grass/hay smell a couple times. I drank this at a tailgate, and, given the situation, Shiner Blonde wasn’t too bad.

Pours thin, no head, no lace. Smells like a weak pilsner with grass and corn smells. Fizzy mouthful, grassy taste. Agree that this could be a macro brew. Disappointing compared to the bock.

Weak head, with no lacing. Weak Corn and Malt aroma. Color is a light gold and almost appears as a macro brew. Flavor is very crisp with no detectable hops or other flavors. Pretty good "lawnmower beer" or to serve to the macro brew drinkers to make them think they are trying something new and different.

Why would you drink this? It is awful. No flavor. Not a real blonde. An over-rated Texas beer.
